CrossSiteLookup in a (branched) Survey

Feb 25, 2010 at 8:52 AM

Hi,

Is it possible to use the CrossSiteLookup in a survey that uses branching ?
I tried to create a test survey with branched question where I want to use the CrossSiteLookup.

I've set the options in the CEWP, but the textfield is not replaced by a dropdown.
I tried it before on a custom list (see my previous topic) and that works great, but I don't manage to do the same in a branched survey.

Is it possible ?

jPoint 0.8 is missing support for survey and wiki forms.  New version with support is in testing now.

In the mean time, I've update jPart.crossSiteLookup.js with a workaround to support survey form.

Set FormFieldName with the survey question text as the field name.

Let me know if this works for you.

Sorry for the late response on this.

I tried the new js file, and it converts to a dropdown but I get an error:

Example of how to set up values parameter: 'values:[{text:'test1', value:'1'}, {text:'test2', value:'2'}]'

I encountered this issue in another topic as well: http://jpoint.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=85904 (see my 4th post)
You fixed it there, but I think this fix is missing in the js file you posted here ?
